Aerial Photography

Open-door

With our GA-8 Airvan, we are able to open the rear sliding door during flight. This method is perfect for photographers who want a wider range of motion or who want a wide-angle shot. This is also ideal for anyone wanting to capture video, as you can obtain nice panning and tilting shots. Open-door photography requires the use of a harnessed restraint system to keep the photograher safe.

Cost: $450.00 per hour (advanced notice required)

You can choose to operate the camera yourself or opt to use one of our photographers. Both visible and infrared photography available. Altitude restrictions apply depending on the location.

Ecology & Conservation Aerial Surveys

Locations of native plants, invasive species, animal habitats and geologic features can be mapped using GPS grid surveys, depending on altitude and airspace restrictions.

Monthly progress photographs of your jobsite, research project or crop growth stage. Potential for characterizing crop moisture, insect pressure, and fertility stress micro-environments by remote sensing. Digital and infrared photography available for crop health surveys.
