Up In Smoke!
Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 03:33PM This is a video of our son, Carter's, house in Montana on fire a couple of days ago! Yikes! I am in Montana now to help him regroup and Bruce is holding down the fort on Kauai. I'm still on the computer and phone answering any questions you might have and working to make your bookings in a timely manner.
Missing Kauai alot as the temperature drops to 46 degrees tonight! I haven't seen that temp for a long time, and believe me I am not prepared! Can't wait to get back to the warm sunshine back home.

I really want to thank everyone for your kind words regarding Carter and to update you all here. He is doing just fine, and although he lost just about everything he is young and resourceful and bounced back beautifully! And a few key items were spared such as his snowboard, skim board, skateboard, climbing gear and mountain bike. Basically all of the toys he needs to have so that he can continue to endanger himself and worry his parents to death! While his more valuable toys which he really needs for his career such as camera equipment, computer, and clothes, of course they all burned up! He swears that was just coincidental but you gotta wonder......
Anyway, he is doing fine and I am so glad I went to spend some time with him which mostly relieved my worries rather than assisted in his recovery but it was great to be with him. One of the greatest hardships of living in Hawaii is the distance back to visit family, but hopefully he will soon move to LA and that little puddle jump is like nothing compared to Bozeman!
